MY REFLECTION!!!!
WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT MYSELF; I learned that the teletubbies are actually a pretty important factor in my childhood. I didn't think they were that important to me, but as I was looking around my room for objects I found noo-noo, and IMMEDIATELY remembered my mom's "tubby-toast". I didn't think that little keychain would hold so many childhood memories.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS LIKE; I'm not too sure what this question is asking. Do you mean the process of making this project? I'm going to assume that that's it. Well, as first it was hard because I wasn't able to think of many things that described me as a person. (I'm really not the kind-of person who can think up a good idea on the spot). But as I was looking around my room and other places, I remembered SO much about my family and my culture and my childhood. Then it became hard to narrow it down to the objects that were most important to me. Presenting was actually really fun, and I enjoyed learning about my classmates.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY; I think I would pick items that are more about my culture, or tie into that somehow.
WHAT CHALLENGES DID YOU FACE; Like I said, my biggest challenge was picking my objects.The rest was pretty easy.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AS A LEARNER; I am definitely a more hand-on kind of person. I learn much better with examples. That's why I was able to remember a little about everyone so much better, I think. If you had had each student come up and just talk about themselves, I wouldn't remember a thing. But since we all brought in the objects, I thought it was interesting, and I remembered a lot more.

First thing is first, I learned that alot of other students's familys and cultures are barely different then my own!!! We have the same traditions and veen though we dont come from the same background we still have the same ideas.
The process at first was confusing because when I was told it had to be 3D I was a little confused on how to construct a collage that was 3D. It took a long time for me come up with a general idea for it, then I started working. After I was given some ideas it became a much easier process in finding the right artifacts for the right reasons.
I would defientley proactice what I am going to say to the class before I presented. I was very nervous and I skipped a couple of my artifacts in my presentation :/.
The challegnes I faced was finding items around my house that could count as the right artifacts.
I think I learned to be independent more and go with my gutt on some of the questions on the project I have. I think now that I am being assigned some vast and general project I am learning new skills that allow me to use my creativity in projects and assignments that incourage it.

from this project, i learned alot about my self. the things i learned were that my culture shapes alot of how i live. i go to croatia each summer. i go to church alot and i didnt quite realize this before this project. while doing it i realized how much being croatian shaped my family's and my life.
the process abotu this project that confused me was the 3d pieces. if we were just able to bring the pictures representing our lives and cultural relationships it would have been alot easier.but while doing the 3 d part of the project it really made me think of who i was and what my culture was. this was my process of this project.
something i would have changed about this project was that i should have done more about my self and less about my country. or atleast i should have compared more of my items/props to myself.
the challenges i faced with this project was moslty thinking of and making the props 3d. one of my props was soccer so i made a soccer feild and to make it 3 d i made the goal out of legos and got a ball i had in my house.
As a learner i learned that writing about an object you know can be very simple or can be very lengthy, for one of my props there was so much to say and for the other prop there was barely anything to say.
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that summarizing my culture and my life in 10 objects is harder then I imagine because there are many things that represent me. I also learned that the traditions that I have mold the way I look at things and how I am now.
What was your process like? (from beginning to end)
I think I was confused in the beginning about this whole project in general but as I reread the task and asked you about this project, it became a bit clearer for me to understand.
What would you do differently?
Now, looking back, I would definitely have put more effort into my work and also thinking of more in depth objects that represent me better and my culture.
What challenges did you face?
I didn't know what I should bring in for my culture project.
What did you learn about yourself as a learner?
I learned that I found it difficult when the strict directions weren't put on me because I was so use to teachers telling exactly what is correct, and what is wrong.

What did you learn about yourself?
- I learned alot about myself from doing this project. Going through my things let me remember alot of experiences that I have had. It also helperd me to realize that my culture has really been a big part of my life. It takes place at home, on holidays, and on all other occasions. From the language, to the food, to the traditions, my culture surrounds me everywhere.
What was your process like? (from beginning to end)
- My process for this project was mostly looking through my old things. I went through a bunch of memories and chose some pieces that represent some of my accomplishments and also connected to my culturre.
What would you do differently?
- The only thing I would have done differently would be to change a couple of the pieces I chose. I would have only changed them because I could have added things that meant a little more to me and were a little more special.
What challenges did you face?
- Some challenges I faced were choosing objects that represent myself and my culture at the time. I wanted to choose objects that were also personal even though it was about culture. I think I did a good job at this though and accomplished the purpose of the project.
What did you learn about yourself as a learner?
- I learned about myself as a learner, that being able to relate to something, lets me understand it better. It was easy for me to concentrate on what people were saying when I had common experiences or when I understood the importance of something.
How can this project help to build a classroom community of learners?
- This project could help to build a classroom community of learners because now, we all know a little more about each other. We understand more about who the actual person is, and can see them in a different point of view. I think we might be able to work together better, because we have a little more in common with each other.
What did you learn about yourself?
~ During this project I learned how much my culture really means to me. While going through things looking for artifacts, i realized that I have a lot of things that went on throughout the years.

~at first I thought the project was going to be hard. I didnt no what you expected of me to do. once I started and got the first artifact I found it eaysier then when I started.
What would you do differently?
~ I like how my project came out. If I was to do something different I would put my artifacts in a different form.
What challenges did you face?
~ Challenges that I faced during this project was picking what artifacts i wasnted to choose. I wasnt sure on what to bring.
What did you learn about yourself as a learner?
~As a learner I learned that I understand things better when there is a direct focus.
How can this project help to build a classroom community of learners?
~ This project can help build a classroom community of learners because we got to learn more about people and their cultures. We got to learn how each culture effected others way of life.

The process was very packed due to the fact I didn't know the project was dued on Tuesday and the confusion on it.

I think I will think of my culture a bit more then look for the artifact.

My challenge WaS mainly the time.

I think that the main thing I learned WaS that I Should have done more thinking and found better artifactS.

I think that Watching the claSSmateS preSent helped them learn about different cultureS that they didn't knoW about.

I learned that certain things such as my religion, technology and writing are really dominantly important things in my life. My process was to first figure out what was important to me, then figure out how I could portray that in an artifact or homemade object.I would have focued more on my cultural background and not on my general life. Challenges I faced were figuring out TEN items to use in my presentation. What I learned about myself as a learner was that I could easily use objects and artifacts as a physical portrayal of what I needed to explain about my culture. This project helped build a classroom community of learners because we all learned a little bit about each other through our presentations, and it also gave us a little practice in public speaking.
